Welcome to my blog!

Cakes & Puddings. I love them!  Both eating them and talking about them.  Follow me on Twitter@myquacks

Cakes & puddings should have more than just good looks, they should taste good too. Over the years, actually since I was about 10 – I have collected literally hundreds of recipes and snippets about anything sweet – my kitchen larder is not used for food but is full of cookery books, folders with my magazine cut outs and piles of recipes. I think cookbooks have to have notes and splashes in them – it shows they are good! In fact any cookery book without corners turned down and covered in notes are not in my opinion, worth keeping!. Lots of the recipes I have made, lots are still to be made but all are treasured.  Many an afternoon is spent reading them and not a day goes by without me tearing another page out of a magazine. My blog is a collection of my musings and favourite recipes, some original, some adapted by me.

I hope these photos of my creations tempt you to delve into my blog and try them out for yourself!

  1. Your apricot&honey wholemeal cakes. How many eggs do you use? It doesn’t say.
